Rise and Shine in The Early Morning

Good morning readers, welcome back to my blog. Yesterday I shared how not to waste money on tech, before we go to the next post I think this post will be special because two experts will give you recommendations about to help you start the day right. Do you want to know more? Let’s check it out!

The Meditation Coach Megan Mook

1) The Meditation Coach Megan Mook
To provide focus for the entire day, Mook, resident instructor at NYC meditation studio MNDFL, recommends picking a goal, or “intention,” first thing. After waking up, “sit in bed quietly,” she says, “state the intention in your mind, and hold it as you take three breaths.” Then, every time you switch activities, “reiterate the intention once.”

The Yogi Colleen Saidman Yee

2) The Yogi Colleen Saidman Yee
To “open yourself up to the day,” Saidman Yee, founder of Yoga Shanti studios, recommends a stretch called “apple picking.” With legs hip width apart, reach arms straight up. Then, “bending the left knee slightly and hiking up the left hip,” stretch your right arm as if for “an out of reach apple.” Perform the same motion with your right leg and left arm. Repeat three times on each side.

So, that's it recommendations about to help you start the day right. See you in the next post, thank you for reading.

How Not To Waste Money On Tech

Broken Piggy Bank Illustration

Good morning readers, welcome back to my blog, today I will share about how not to waste money on tech. Few days ago, I spent an afternoon with my credit card bills to inventory my digital subscriptions. Here’s how to do it, let’s check it out.

The Three-Month Trial

1) The Three-Month Trial
A while back, I got my son a subscription to Deezer, which is a streaming service like Spotify but with more electronic dance music. I signed up for three free months, but I had to put in my credit card. He doesn’t use it anymore, but years later, I caught a $250 charge. Other companies have incremental costs, but Deezer’s huge number was obvious. Luckily, it was easy to log in and shut it off.
Tip: When you start a trial, set your calendar to remind you when the free trial ends.

2) The Outdated Data Plan
If my wireless bill is higher than usual for no clear reason, I call up customer service and say that I’m dropping one of my lines. Usually, they’ll either lower your bill by ten bucks, or put you on a cheaper promotional deal. You have to get lucky that week, but it happens.
Tip: If you have autopay, set your bill to email you every month to catch any price hikes.

3) The Impossible Cancellation
I was paying $7 a month for Xbox Live. I asked my son, “You still using the Xbox?” “Nah, haven’t played it in months.” “Then you gotta tell me, dude!” When I went to cancel, none of us could remember the password. The hold times with Microsoft were eternal. Eventually, I called American Express and disputed the charges until they agreed to stop making payments. It sounds drastic, but that was the only option. I haven’t had any issues since.
Tip: If you can’t cancel your subscription, tell your credit card company to stop payments.

So, that's it all about how not to waste money on tech. See you in another post, thank you for reading.

How To Predict Weather In Your Backyard

Good morning readers, this time I like to share about how to predict weather in your backyard. It’s important to record and understand your homesite’s microclimate, especially when you’re growing food. Here some useful tips to make you understanding how to predict weather in your backyard. You’ll need the following tools, let’s check it out.

Snowboard

1) Snowboard
Cut a sixteen-inch square out of plywood, paint it white, and place it on even, open ground next to a vertical meter stick. Mark the location with a bright flag. By measuring both snowfall and the water equivalent of snow (use your rain gauge, below), you’ll be able to tell how much water your crops are getting in the winter.

Thermometer

2) Thermometer
Shell out for a thermistor thermometer. These register electrical resistance and are very accurate. Record temperature for a few years to get the average first freeze and hygrometer.
This will give you dew point, the highest temperature at which water vapor will become liquid. High dew points at low temperatures can protect your plants from frost damage.

Cup anemometer

3) Cup anemometer and wind vane
The anemometer will give you wind speed, while the vane will show wind direction. Strong winds at night can prevent frost from sitting on—and damaging—crops.

Four-inch rain gauge

4) Four-inch rain gauge
Recording total rainfall over time will help you predict your property’s threshold for how much rain is too much (for example: at what point your basement will flood).

Aneroid barometer

5) Aneroid barometer
An aneroid barometer, which uses a vacuum box to measure pressure, will last longer than a liquid barometer, which is subject to evaporation. Depending on what side of a storm you’re on, air pressure will drop or rise as it approaches.

So, that's it all about how to predict weather in your backyard. See you in another post, thank you for reading.

Beauty Habits That Can Hurt Your Health

Good morning readers, today I want to share about beauty habits that can hurt your health. Here some tips to make you more smart and healthy from day to day. Let’s check it out.
Skip these glam gaffes that could be harming your body and skin.

Misusing eyeliner

1) Misusing eyeliner
Apply liner outside the lash line only. Coloring inside the lines can bring bacteria into your eye (and, as a result, an infection) or clog the glands that secrete oils to protect the cornea.

Sharing nail tools

2) Sharing nail tools
Dirty tools may put you at risk of fungal or bacterial infections. To stay safe, BYOT (bring your own tools) to the salon. Also, consider booking pedicure appointments in the morning, when foot baths are typically the cleanest, says the American Podiatric Medical Association.

Plucking ingrown hairs

3) Plucking ingrown hairs
Attempting to dig out an ingrown hair with tweezers can cause an infection or scarring. Instead, gently wash and exfoliate around the hair daily to encourage it to return to the skin’s surface, and apply a topical acne treatment containing salicylic acid.

Overusing razor blades

4) Overusing razor blades
Toss your blade after 5 to 10 shaves, and don’t store it in the shower—the damp environment can be a hotbed of bacteria. An old or dull blade also leads to more nicks or microscopic cuts.

3 Signs You’re Slacking Too Much

Good morning readers, today I want to share about 3 signs you’re slacking too much. Any of these sound familiar? If so, you may be undoing all your good (weekday) work. Here some signs that you must to know, let’s check it out.

Your Food Log Is Inconsistent

1. Your Food Log Is Inconsistent
For three weeks, document your meals and snacks, water intake, and energy levels every day. Then compare your weekday stats with your weekend ones. Any evidence that you relax your food rules during days off? Try writing yourself a menu in advance for the full week to take out the weekend guesswork.

2. You Don’t Mark Up Your Calendar
If you don’t keep track, you may not realize how much you dine out and drink on the weekends. Insert your full weekend schedule into your smartphone calendar so you know where you’ll be for each meal, plus when you’ll need snacks. “Sometimes we actually have to write these things down to get them done”.

You Feel Like Crap on Monday

3. You Feel Like Crap on Monday
Using your food and energy log, assess your state on Mondays. Do you start the week groggy? Bloated? Headachy? “Coming off a bender will not have you entering Monday at 100 percent”. Then suss out whether you’re partying too much, skipping vital nutrients, or in need of a yoga class.

So, that's it all about 3 signs you’re slacking too much. See you in the next post, thank you for reading.

5 Way to Break Out of Your Comfort Zone

5 Way to Break Out of Your Comfort Zone

Good morning readers, today I would like to share about 5 way to break out of your comfort zone. Are you currently in your comfort zone in a long time enough? Today, you must try to break out of your comfort zone. Here some useful tips, let's check it out.
You might not have plans to climb the Alps, but maybe there’s another challenge on your bucket list. Whatever your goal, the key to success is charging past self-imposed barriers. This is it, some tips on how to do just that.

1. Be uncomfortable more
The goal is to increase your level of risk-taking. Start with one thing—maybe signing up for that Spartan race—and move from there. Push your boundaries every now and again, then do so more regularly. The more you take risks, the easier it becomes.

Get mindful

2. Get mindful
Yes, the body can set limits on us, but the mind is often what really interferes. While you can’t turn your brain off, you can make it work with you. Try the 60/40 principle from military training: When you get so tired that you feel you can’t continue, your body is at 60 percent of what it can do. Tell yourself you can do 40 percent more. This forces your mind to concentrate on what you can accomplish rather than what you think you can’t.

Focus on now

3. Focus on now
What’s happening in this moment is much more important than where you want to land. If you take care of each “now” as it comes, you’re taking care of where you end up.

4. Build resilience
Continuing on when adversity strikes and getting up when you’ve been knocked down—that kind of stick-to-itiveness sets those at the top apart from those who don’t make it. The good news: You can learn to bounce back, especially when you realize that you can’t become resilient if you don’t fail.

5. Tap into your desire
This is a must. You have to want it more than you’re afraid of it!

So, that's it all about 5 way to break out of your comfort zone. See you in the next post, thank you for reading.
